Perhaps the USA and France are now regretting providing Iran with nuclear technology in the first place. The fact remains, however, that all the permanent members of the UNSC are in breach of their obligations under the NPT whereas Iran, so far, is not. Two members of the UNSC overthrew Iran's democratically-elected government and installed an absolute monarchy, whereas Iran has never done this to any member of the UNSC. The fault is all on the side of the terrorist Western states. The Iranian regime appears uniquely horrible, but none of us are in a position to complain about it, therefore, as our own states forced Iran into its revolution.

The US and its hench-states have attempted to reduce Iran to a mediaeval condition for just possibly being in a position to violate the NPT while they themselves continue to flout it with impunity, and far from being reduced to the Middle Ages Iran is in a position to provide Russia with modern weapons and is the regional superpower, with some quality-of-life metrics better than the USA.

Iranian nuclear weapons are a foregone conclusion. And it's our own fault.
