Theism does not get around the problem of ultimate origins, which is common to both religious and atheistic models: Why is there something rather than nothing? For theism this just changes to "Why are there gods rather than nothing"? Ploys like God being the "necessary being" are sophistries designed to defer the question: Why is a being necessary rather than nothing being necessary?

As for life coming from non-life, I have never, even once, heard a theistic apologist arguing that non-life cannot come from life.
